Sunday

Went to church today (don't worry my atheist friends, this doesn't mean this will become a religious blog). I've decided to focus on two things for the week. The first is to be a better momma & wife. Going along with that is to focus on the things in life that matter, the things that I'll look back on many years from now & remember. One of those meaningful things: Gracie helped me garden today. I'm pretty sure she ate some dirt. I don't think that makes me a better mother. xoxo

That's Funny! I don't think you're a bad mom because Gracie ate a little dirt. :o)

I found sheets at Costco! They are 400 count sateen sheets and they are 17" deep. I think they were about $60. They fit great. Kathryn got some nice ones at Bed Bath and Beyond, I think.

10 months is too long until we get together again! Sometime in the next couple weeks would be nice.

That's nothin'. I've seen her pick up a dog poop or two. Fortunately her momma intervenes before the spring-loaded elbow brings it to her mouth. I do wonder if she would continue the found-objects-go-in-mouth routine if just once the poop made it all the way. I guess it depends on Harley’s diet (she also eats poop.)

I wouldn't lower myself to sleep on anything less than 600 threads!

Nicole... don't fret!! I was once the mommy who had to call Poison Control because my daughter ate a little kitty litter snack - and, not the clean kind. Imagine my horror when the Poison Control ladies said that it's one of the top ten most common phone calls they receive... :-) HA!
As for being a better wife and mommy... :-) good for you. I read a GREAT book (religious bookstore, non religious book) called "The Power of Being a Postive Mom." You might like it!! :-)

dad (aka anonymous) - I think you're stretching the truth, as far as the poop thing goes. She's come close to picking it up, but she's never actually touched it (I don't think).
You just like to brag about the bargain sheets you found at Ross (yes, I'm jealous). xoxo
